Paying with crypto (BTC and LTC)
Payments & escrow · 1 min read
Where crypto checkout is offered, Rivet creates an invoice with a payment address and an exact amount. The invoice supports Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC).
Do this
- Send only the coin you chose (BTC or LTC), on its native network.
- Send the exact amount shown on the invoice.
- Send from a wallet you control. Do not send directly from an exchange.
- Keep the invoice page open while it moves from detected to confirmed.
Confirmations and expiry
- The invoice needs 1 network confirmation for BTC and 3 for LTC. The page shows the current count.
- An invoice is valid for 60 minutes. If it expires before you pay, create a new one rather than paying the old address.
- Once the payment is confirmed your order is created and you get an email.
